-The Federal High-Efficiency Electric Home Rebate (HEAR) program, has officially restarted, bringing $8.8 billion back to State energy programs.
-The program is renamed High-Efficiency Electric Home Rebates” (HEEHR).
-Expect many more States to launch their HEAR/HEEHR program in the near future.
-The guidelines have now been updated to explicitly promote electric efficiency upgrades and allow homes to retain their fossil-fuel furnaces.

1. High-Value Savings
Heat Pump Heating/Cooling: Up to $8,000 off. Applies to central ducted heat pump and ductless mini-split systems.

2. Eligibility is Income-Based
The program is designed for households earning less than 150% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
Low Income (<80% AMI): The rebate covers 100% of the cost (up to the caps above).
Moderate Income (80%–150% AMI): The rebate covers 50% of the cost (up to the caps above).
3. Point-of-Sale Convenience
You simply apply on the State energy portal and get your State voucher. 1/ Some programs allow purchases at retail for specific products, check out the State energy portal carefully and/or contact us: instant discount (select retailers) or post purchase rebate. 2/ Professional installation: The contractor deducts the amount of your voucher directly from your quote and invoice.
